Good evening to all,

Wouldn't it be useful to add a category "Chromatic basses" in addition to diatonic and chromatic?
It would facilitate the research.

Hello,

As I'm about to start learning chromatic basses, does anyone have a diagram of the left hand keyboard with the notes layout?

I have one for the standard basses, but not for the chromatic basses and it would be very useful to "visualize" the location of the notes at the beginning...

Thanks in advance!

Hello Accordeonia

in the tab ''Partitions'' you just have to search for ''clavier'' and you may find your happiness ....

Hello Michelle ,
I have been using the chromatic bass part of my accordion for 3 to 4 years, I am currently on vacation and I do not have the possibility to scan the schematic of MY left keyboard, I say "MY" because I am not sure that there is only one configuration (the debate is open), but I will be back towards the end of the month, if you are still interested, I will send you a photocopy of the keyboard.
Hang on because at the beginning, it's quite confusing and it doesn't fit all by itself but when you play an Argentinian tango (for example), it has nothing to do with the traditional chords, it's as if you were "piloting" a bandoneon and there, you don't need to dance it to enjoy yourself, it's another thing...
I wish you a good evening.
Best wishes.

Good evening Daniel,

Thank you, I have time, I will have my new accordion in a few weeks!

For now, I have an instrument on loan and I can find the notes by "trial and error" LOL!

I accept your proposal with pleasure.

Good evening Jmimi,

I have looked at the left hand diagrams that are already uploaded on the site, but they are the standard bass diagrams.

I would like to look for the detailed chromatic bass schematic. I know it is a reflection of the right hand keyboard...but I have trouble visualizing it without a schematic.

Have a nice evening,
Music@lement,

Hello Michelle,

I just looked at the diagram of the chromatic bass keyboard submitted by Jmimi, it corresponds very exactly to my instrument, namely if there is no other as there are several configuration of right hand keyboard, I would not be surprised.
Good day.

Hello, I'm taking back my accordion after a few years of inactivity. The problem is that I don't remember exactly how the chromatic keyboard works, or especially the order of the notes (I remember that there are major, minor, 7th and diminished 7th). I wanted to know if you had a summary table of the keys in chromatic.

Hello, you can take any piano score, the fingering is different (if it is noted on the score) but if you go to chromatic basses, I suppose that you already have a certain level on the accordion. You can also take accordion scores or simplified scores, you just have to put your chords or to break them down (arpeggios). Good luck, at the beginning, it is not obvious at all, we are so used to the fact that the chords are ready made that it is a bit confusing, our left hand is not formatted for that when we had a traditional learning. Best regards Daniel

Good evening There is also the Vol 1 "J'apprends l'accordéon" by Charles Demaele that I deposited a few months ago. Just type in the name of the composer. Good evening. Jodi Normally I should have the Vol 2 by the same composer, but where is it ?????
