As I'm about to start learning chromatic basses, does anyone have a diagram of the left hand keyboard with the notes layout?
I have one for the standard basses, but not for the chromatic basses and it would be very useful to "visualize" the location of the notes at the beginning...

I have been using the chromatic bass part of my accordion for 3 to 4 years, I am currently on vacation and I do not have the possibility to scan the schematic of MY left keyboard, I say "MY" because I am not sure that there is only one configuration (the debate is open), but I will be back towards the end of the month, if you are still interested, I will send you a photocopy of the keyboard.
Hang on because at the beginning, it's quite confusing and it doesn't fit all by itself but when you play an Argentinian tango (for example), it has nothing to do with the traditional chords, it's as if you were "piloting" a bandoneon and there, you don't need to dance it to enjoy yourself, it's another thing...

For now, I have an instrument on loan and I can find the notes by "trial and error" LOL!

Good evening Jmimi,
I have looked at the left hand diagrams that are already uploaded on the site, but they are the standard bass diagrams.
I would like to look for the detailed chromatic bass schematic. I know it is a reflection of the right hand keyboard...but I have trouble visualizing it without a schematic.

I just looked at the diagram of the chromatic bass keyboard submitted by Jmimi, it corresponds very exactly to my instrument, namely if there is no other as there are several configuration of right hand keyboard, I would not be surprised.
