Zorba is no more!
Míkis Theodorákis was a composer of genius but also a man committed to fighting against dictatorships. Member of the resistance during the Nazi occupation, he was imprisoned and tortured by government agents during the Greek civil war (1946-1949).
The Greek Sirtaki doesn`t exist for info it`s a creation just for the movie Zorba, the music is the Rebetiko.
