Hello to all,

Here are the last updates of the website:

- Big improvement of the search: The entered terms don't need to "follow" each other exactly to find results. For example "tango 20" will find "The tango of your 20 years".

- The links to the classified ads have been fixed. And in general the search on the classifieds has also been fixed and improved.

- The previews of the scores (often a grey square) have been fixed and the previews of all scores are currently being regenerated.

As usual, please let me know if you encounter any bugs or problems!

Have a nice holiday season,
Musically,
Slade

Ah, really great to not have to be ultra precise to find a score, that's ultra good ♫♫
I used to love looking at the latest downloaded scores. I can't find this possibility anymore...Is this normal? Thanks for the answer

Hello, this is KPC from the PA admin account :)
The publications of the scores on the site are in chronological order of release. The first ones are the most recent additions. Just scroll down the news feed on the "news" page or on "scores".
The scores newsletter will be back very (very) soon. We'll get to it as soon as the site debugging leaves us time!

Hello veilo and jpg, if you go to the score page it is organized the same way as before.
good evening,
I have edited a lexicon with titles and depositors, when I go to one of the depositors the piece is present in its list, when I want to print this same piece in the "search" bar
impossible!!!!, while I manage to print the last deposited scores.
Can someone explain me why?

thank you in advance musically to all

bjr, it seems to me that the desired pieces are often found in receivers, and that it is necessary to print all the scores to have the desired one(s), without the possibility of extracting the desired scores.

thank you very much
In a collection in pdf format, it is possible to extract a score on pages 31 to 33 for example, and to print only these pages ...
I have to do this at least 10/15 times a month .... to send just the requested title ...!
If you can't do it : 1) give me the title of the book 2) the piece you want 3) I'll send it to you on a mail address ...
To do this, you have to send me a PM: small envelope on the left under my photo .... ContactI'm at your service .... just foresee that I'm not permanently behind my computer !

Hello to all,

I posted in the bug and improvement topic but finally what was supposed to be an addition is now taking an important place that I think deserves its own topic.

As you may have noticed, notifications are displayed in the upper right corner of the screen to inform about what is happening on the website.

member connection, new messages in the forum new scores etc...

An icon has also appeared in the right menu, a clock.
By clicking on it you can find all the history of the activity of the site.

So why all this?

For several reasons.
First of all to allow the administrators (me and jean-jacques) to send you messages if necessary without necessarily creating a topic in the forum or sending an email.

Secondly, because I think that p-a is a community and who says community says life and therefore the site must be alive.

And finally, because it allows you to easily see what's new when you arrive on the site.

You log in with your coffee and wonder what's been going on lately?
Well, instead of going through all the pages of the site, you click on the little clock and you will know at a glance, the last messages, the last added scores etc...

That's it!

This subject is made to be commented as always, with your opinions, feelings, suggestions etc....

It will remain as an "important topic" for some time.

Hoping to read many of you!

Hello slade

I find this new opportunity to have instantly all the info on the site very interesting because I regularly pass by but with limited time I do not necessarily find the time to read and respond to certain messages

continue in this direction thank you

Hello,
you have now in the history links to sort the display.

- All: Will show all notifications
- Scores: Only added scores
- Forum: Only notifications related to the forum

And as promised,
you now have the possibility in the notifications tab of your profile to choose which notifications will be displayed in real time (this does not affect the history)
Hello to all,
a small point to clarify the functioning of the requests for scores.

First of all, a partition request must ABSOLUTELY be made via the button very rightly entitled: "Make a partition request": on the right from THE FORUM.

Why?

Because when you make a request for a score via this form, the site will search its database to try to find all the existing titles that could correspond to your search, and thus, oh joy, you avoid having to search for it yourself and avoid requesting a title that already exists and that risks being submitted a second time!

ALL requests must go through this tool, it helps to clarify the forum and keep a clear and easily accessible list of requests that are pending. If you make a list of 10 scores, it is likely that after 2-3 are added, the others will never come because it is not necessarily obvious to go back into the topics to check that the list is complete.

Requests that do not respect the protocol will be deleted!
Do not redo a request that is still current, they remain in effect until the score is filed !!!! So, no need to start again every two days ....

Another advantage, you will be notified by email when the score is added (if it is added with the same name as the one present in the request), hence the importance that the deposits are made with the name of the composers and not the name of the performers ...

And finally, once your request is solved, please click on the green button "mark as solved" inside the discussion (on top), which will have the effect of not displaying the request anymore and so that everyone knows at a glance which scores are missing!

To see the requests marked as solved, you just have to click on the checkbox "Show solved topics" and then on "search" so that they appear!

Requests for sheet music should also - obviously - not be listed in the classifieds section, unless you want to buy the sheet music, which must be clearly stated in the ad. All requests for scores in the classifieds section without a price, or without any mention that it is a purchase of a paper score will be deleted without notice!

Thanks to all of you!
