Hello, I'm looking for a piece for advanced beginners in the style of "Pièce dans le style ancien". Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hello everyone, as mentioned in the presentation I published this morning, I play on an acoustic accordion (so WITHOUT MIDI). However, I'm thinking of buying a Ketron SD40 (or something else if someone has a better idea!) and I'll explain: on the one hand, I'd like to be able to use midifiles (midi files) that I have in my computer and so far, I think that, even without being connected to MIDI, it's quite possible. But, on the other hand, I have a whole repertoire composed of pieces for which I don't have midi or Mp3 files. Therefore, in this last case, I would like to know if the SD40 (or other), without any MIDI connection, could be used as a "rhythm box" and this, in all the musette oriented styles, such as waltz, march, tango, bolero, paso, cha cha, samba, polka, etc...? If so, could you explain to me the manoeuvres to be carried out on the machine to reach it. In advance, many thanks to all of you.

Good evening Gege, all the arrangers in the world can be used as a drum machine BUT everything will be done manually or with a pedal for the START/STOP. Rhythmic variations, intro and ending BUT it will only be the drum beat, no bass, no rhythmic sequences of course. It will be only an improved metronome with sounds of bass drum, cymbals, hi-hat, snare etc etc. Practical to work in rhythm a song but not very pleasant on stage

Good evening Jean-Pierre.... if I read correctly the first name on your accordion! Many thanks for your message. I think that the solution would be to "midify" at least the left hand of my accordion in order to benefit from all the complete rhythms of the expander. But well, that will make me pay 2 bills! The purchase of the expander AND the installation of the midifier in the accordion. I'll think about it anyway. Thanks again and very musically.Gégé

For the first name it is just
Hello to you; accordionist friends. I wanted to thank from the bottom of my heart our friend Manu Maugain for sharing his qualities through the methods he has designed for beginners as well as for experienced accordionists. After having contacted him by phone, I ordered on Play Music "Jazz improvisation on accordion" that I have just received. This one is full of ideas, and knows a great wealth, in term of solfeggio; for the one or the other, who dreams of composing his own music or arranging already built pieces. If I dare to promote this precise method, it is because I know that many members have the desire to create; Manu gives through his research, the keys allowing to cross the step of the creativity, with its rules of construction. On behalf of all of us, I congratulate this very talented artist, who puts the fruit of his work at our disposal. Thank you Manu for this album!

Hello to all of you.
For several months, I have been wondering:
Would it be possible to associate an MP3 file with a score?
Indeed, it would be judicious to be able to listen and follow the score at the same time in order to have a real idea on the proposed piece. Several sites on the net already offer this option. There is the possibility to roughly decipher the scores, but one does not always have the time to do it and for some others it is difficult. And moreover, some days, there are more than 20 scores deposited.
Have a nice sunny day ....
Sincerely

Hello to all of you.
Don't you confuse MP3 and MIDI? because with a MIDI file it is possible.

No. I am talking about an MP3 file.
So the score in PDF + the corresponding MP3 file associated.
Of course, if the MP3 doesn't exist or can't be found, a midi file can be used.

Hello Levinceret

There are on the market sequences Play back corresponding to the scores.

These scores on 5 albums of the Paul Beuscher Editions have been deposited by our friend Vincent on January 17, 2011.

I will contact my friend Cindou11 to know how I can send her the totality of the Play backs corresponding to these scores.

These Play backs are not in Mp3 format but in Wave.

Good afternoon.

Hello,
I may have misunderstood you.
I'm not looking for karaoke, midi files or any other MP3.
I just wanted to know if it was possible to attach a sound file (MP3, midi, or any other format) indexed to the registered score. All this in order to have quickly a sound vision of the deposited score. On several sites on the net, this option already exists. You have the choice between the score, the MP3 sound or the midi file, for a deposited title.
Good day (under the rain)

Hello again,

Now I understand the meaning of the question.

I believe that it should be possible to attach a file of another extension (even Audio) by compressing the whole partition file in Zip or Rar.with a format MID. kAR. MP3.WAVE. Etc. "The best is to ask the question to the moderators of this superb site that is P-A.

But is it the goal of the site to start venturing into the Audio files whatever they are, for my part I am not for.

Good end of day.

Jodi

Good evening,
Sorry, I didn't think about the sacrosanct copyrights and intellectual property of musical works ....... it must be due to the rotten weather of these last days ! Thanks for putting me back on track...
Good music to you all

Hi vinceret,Indeed it is not possible to associate an MP3 to a score because of copyright.nevertheless, I have in mind to make an automatic system of YouTube search with possibility of listening when the score is available on YouTube.it is what should be part of the v4 of p-a. :-)

Good evening,
Here is a solution that I like.
And in addition, a link does not take much space.
It's a good alternative.
Thanks for thinking about it.
Good night.

Hello

I like the idea of slade too.

In this sense and in date of 29-07-2014 I placed a link of Youtube for the listening of the partition of: " For a dance with you of Alain Morisod & Sweet People..." but that apparently nobody has.

Have a nice day.

Jodi
Hello to all

while waiting for the new V4 of PA, it is since a long time possible and easy, at the time of a request to add a link on you tube...

Here is an example:

(thanks to you Jodi for this request which is a model of its kind!)
Hello
I'm looking for ideas of pieces that I could play for a wedding procession; something quite young and lively. I would also like to have an idea of a nice waltz and march for the opening of a bridal shower. Thank you Helene

Hello helene3,

I don't know your level but why don't you start with the beginning, that is to say a recital of 2 or 3 pieces up there near the church organ.
I was 16 years old at the time and we were 5 accordionists playing pieces like "adagio cantabile" that I put on the website and I still have a fond memory of it-what an acoustic.there is only the embarrassment of choice with the compositions arranged for various levels of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven.... and the guests will remain amazed.
Then as marches I think of "Under the double eagle" and the waltzes of Vienna to then better rebound on a repertory musette or varieties.
This is just one opinion among others.

Daniel
Bravo Dan...!
I see that you have done in the chic ... Congratulations !
It's true that everything depends on the level of the musicians ... (without being pejorative) !
I find your idea very good ...
Best wishes

Thank you It's true that an accordion in a church sounds great. But for this occasion, there is no church. I'll write it down for a next time, giving me time to work on the piece. Hélène

hi
another opportunity to notice that an advice is never simple because we don't have all the elements of analysis,
in other words a request is useless ;)
but no !!! we are happy anyway
in this case :
let's be crazy !!!
church not church ?
"new marriage" or not ? no comment
age of the bride and groom ;) yes !!!
level of zicos, or not ;)
number of guests ?
requirements of the bride and groom, the parents, the priest, and so on
not simple at all
a solution :
to limit oneself to please the bride and groom as far as one can musically, and then basta
