When I was a kid, we used to play for funerals, our teacher asked the parish priest what was correct to play, unfortunately, it's been more than 55 years and I don't remember the titles (especially since they were mostly in Latin).Times have changed since then, go see a priest, he won't necessarily advise you to play church pieces (if that's the case, you'll go see a younger one).Good research.SincerelyDaniel

But you also have the Agnus Dei; or the Adagio in G Minor (Albinoni); or Memory, they are there; pieces which lend themselves to the circumstances. I also advise you to prepare yourself for these, because the resonance in a church is important (I don't think that the priest or the deacon) doesn't see any inconvenience to what you repeat in his place. I wish you courage, because I played the Ave Maria myself for a friend; it is very demanding .........
