Hello. I don't know in detail the improvements made but I still say that the search engine, even improved, is too discriminating. For example, if I search for "Cerisier rose et pommier blancs" with an unfortunate additional "s", the engine does not find this song, unlike Youtube or Scribd for example. It is the same if I forget one of the two "f" of "indifference".

It will not be possible to set spelling mistakes as such.
YouTube and scribd do not have the same search infrastructure.
This kind of thing includes having spellchecking, with dictionaries in all the languages used on the scores. Not only will the server never be able to support this, but we are talking about a project that goes far beyond the context of accordion scores.
The search bar offers auto-completion to correct spelling errors.

Yes there is a problem on the page "Scores" which is completely unconfigured. No more input fields. Icons became very big and not positioned at all. Also since a few days on the right hand side there is a 404 error on the "Bass button..." and "pearly white markers..." ads.

Hello, the easiest way to find a score on the PA site is to go to the Google search engine which corrects everything...and you have to write the name of the site and the title separated by the plus sign between quotation marks...for example "partitions-accordeon.com" + pink cherry tree and you will find your happiness.
Hello There are more and more people asking for titles that have already been on the site for several months or years. This raises a question. Are we dealing with losers who love to be assisted or is there a schmilblick in the P-A site's search engine if the applicants can't find anything and feel obliged to apply?
Perhaps it should be re-explained that it is possible to search with several criteria. The title, if one is sure that it is good, or with keywords, or by artists, or by performers or by composers. But all this seems maybe too heavy.

Without even doing a search with multiple criteria just the title find most of the scores that are requested and already filed.
There are several factors:
- people don't search (in the same way that people don't read. It is specified twice that the artists field is for artists but the requesters keep marking their messages in it).
- regular members are requesting sheet music because they can't download it from the site because they are not premium.
- most of the existing sheet music sites also work on a personal request concept. Does this play a role? I don't know.
But literally the last 5 requests I see would have been found just by typing the title of the score... Without any need for advanced criteria....

Hi Cavag31,
At renewal time if you are not present you will go back to regular status but you can become premium again as soon as you are back :)
But I think the renewal will be available a week before the official renewal date!
For the chat you have to look at the bottom right of the screen you have a message icon with a number next to it, you click on it and you will have access to all the people online :)

I suppose that in this community there are bandoneonists "'ouh that it is hard to write"!!!. and that scores specifically written for bando exist, I suggest if it is possible to create in the search engine the mention Bando in addition to the existing mentions chroma and diato.It is quite obvious that one can always play a piece written for bando on the accordion 'one does not have the same rendering for the key of F obviously.

If even here you do not find what you are looking for. You can try with just one keyword of the title you are looking for, not all scores are spelled perfectly well.
You can also search by author, here too you can use the steps described above!

Please do some research before asking; otherwise ask how to use the search engine and it will benefit others who may not know!

A little message to celebrate the 1 000 posts of our friend Karandre on the forum!
1 000 messages on a total of 3 064 messages or 32% of the messages posted!
This makes him the number 1 contributor of P-A.com!
I think it deserves a happy P-Anniversary :)
And since we are in numbers, here are some about the site:
- 3,064 posts for 866 open threads!
- 1 320 private messages sent!
- 207 instant message despite its recent creation!
- 3,013 registered users!
- 6,634 scores submitted to date!
- Remonstrances from my host for sending more than 500 emails some hours :)
- An average of 250 to 300 visitors per day.
- A total of 93 726 pages seen since the creation of the site.
- A frequentation which does not cease increasing. 54% of the traffic coming from the search engines
- Visitors coming from 49 different countries and speaking 32 different languages! With of course a huge majority coming from France.
- The top 5 being : France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Italy.
- The flop 5 being : Albania, Paraguay, Martinique, Mauritius and Andorra :)
- Great personal victory, Firefox is the most used browser on P-A with 39.3% against 38% for internet explorer! That's great! We must continue like that :)
- An average of 6 minutes per visit.
- An average of 7 clicks on the ads per day. Don't forget that it's the ads and the donations that keep the site alive. Where you waste a few seconds clicking on an ad, it allows me to keep P-A.com alive!
