Hello, I use Musescore regularly. Could we put on Partition-Accordeon, some files of Musescore when it's possible ? That would allow to recover them and arrange them as we need. Otherwise, we have to copy everything. Musescore is a free and easy to use software. There are many tutorials, and we can help each other. What do you think about it?

Hello to all of you.
Mafa
Why don't you make a request for the title you are looking for in MuseScore or use the Tutorial section.
There are also a lot of scores on the MuseScore site.

Hello,
I agree with Theo.
If we put in MuseScore files, we'll end up with tons of readings instead.
But to get your hands on lots of sheets in .mxl format in particular, there is a link here that would contain nearly 7000 sheets that were once on the late Wikifonia :

Good music!

Hello, yes it is true, but printing or downloading sheet music on Musescore will become paid for as of March 13, 2020. Except for what is in the public domain.$25 per year.

Good evening,
Yes, I agree with the opinion of Lisa and Theo, let's not distort the principle of P. A is to try, (as far as possible ...), to deposit original scores (but especially the originals ... ah ah ..)
Statements are welcome when a member has a specific research.
Thank youiiiii ♫♫

Hi Marianne,
It's strange because, on my side, all pdf's open very well with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, just like mxl's open with MuseScore 3. Strange...

Hello again Marianne,
Make sure you have extracted all the files in the archive (zip) into a directory beforehand.
Good luck! Lisa

Hello
As far as paying scores on MUSESCORE are concerned, this has already existed for quite some time for some scores shared by musicians who are - labeled - PRO in a small green square next to their nickname.
The information that the scores shared by all users were going to become paying and announced in a message by a MuseScore staff member scared everyone more than it had any real effect. The seven days have passed and for the moment nothing has changed.
Paid scores are still paid and all other free scores are still offered for free.
In order not to see each time ...this purchase proposal, you have to be perfectly connected to the Musescore website with your username and password in relation with your email address.

A little tip: the day when the scores will really be all paid but still displayed on the MuseScore site, you will still have the possibility to - capture - each sheet by a screen capture which is a simple key on your keyboard - print screen - and before that, you will have to ask for a - lateral - display of the sheets by clicking on the icon in the shape of a small square on the top right (only four small corners of the square).. you will see the sheets next to each other and not under each other ...

Hello
I just tried a free software called
P I C P I C K
Once the software is launched ...it is in the background .
If you want to take several screenshots
You must press SHIFT + the PRINT SCREEN key (which is on the AZERTY keyboard)
And a BIG CROSS appears, you just have to frame the area to capture and when the rectangle (or square) is drawn the content is captured and put in an editor to save the image in the format of your choice. It is possible to capture several areas one after the other. Each capture then corresponds to a pane in the editor. It is possible to save each content of - pane - in images and with free software like PDF24 or PDFcreator or PDF redirect V2 to reconstitute a PDF
Lionel
Here is an example of capture here

Hello
In the same principle as the initial question asked .
The partition editor Note Worthy Composer saves all the partitions made in files with the extension NWC.
And there are plenty of NWC on the internet. On the designer's site, there is a free viewer. That means, lots of scores.
Band in a Box produces MGU files and other formats.

So there are tons of scores on the web...not only in PDF.
So if we had to put in P-A everything that could look like a partition I don't know if we should ask the owners of the hosting servers to double or triple the capacity .
So all the - exotic - formats are there, where they belong. You just have to look for them.

Hello,
I have just deposited a transcript of the Rosina score by E. Miccio (score of 1920).
If some people want, I can send them the Musescore file.
If some people want to appropriate the score, there is no need to copy it, especially since Musescore is free (even if I already paid them a contribution...).
I don't know if it can be a new option of "Accordion Scores", but I always found it a pity to remake what already exists!

In advance, thank you

Good evening to all
I use MuseScore under Win 10, to assign an instrument, just type I and in the window that opens ... for accordion choose Free reed then "click" on accordion.or in the top banner EDIT then Instruments
hoping that this is what you wanted to know.

Hello,
For any question about Musescore, I advise you to go on their website.
There is a forum in French: you will probably find the answer to most of the questions you will ask yourself...
Good luck : the software is very rich...

Hello to all musicians, I have just sent one of my last compositions, which I have slightly modified (an error was pointed out to me by a local accordionist (Chantal Soulu)). I took the opportunity to redo it with another software, which could be of interest to those who can't afford a paying software: it's MUSESCORE; great software, based on the SIBELIUS engine and which doesn't crash. A new version is online, for free. For those who are interested, here is the link: http://musescore.org/ Moreover - and here I address to the "modos" like JJ; how to make to remove a partition which I sent? (in this case, the first version of "Ca tourne à biarritz"? I wish you all a good evening... in music. Serge
