Hello everyone,
It's a big change
that has just arrived on Partitions-accordeon. After months of
problems with Paypal, whether it be their non-existent support
(17 days to get an answer), their huge fees or the obligation
or the obligation often, for you, to create a paypal account to obtain a
subscription, we decided to change our payment platform.

The payments on
Partitions-accordeon.com are now validated by stripe (stripe.com).
Stripe is a company very present in the online payment and
whose security is no longer to demonstrate, as paypal, your banking information
your banking information is always protected.
What changes:
-
It is no longer possible to pay with a paypal account. But only
with a credit or debit card. (SEPA transfers could be integrated if there is a

- The payment form has changed and should be much easier to access than it was with Paypal.
-
The functionality to offer a subscription is (temporarily?) gone.
It was used only once or twice a year. I would
I will reinstate it if requested.

What doesn't change:

Your banking information is still not transmitted via
partitions-accordéon.com, we do not receive any information and therefore
we don't store anything. The payment information is transferred directly to Stripe

Hello,
I often receive messages from members who don't want to pay by credit card because they are afraid to pay on the internet and they ask for alternative ways of payment.

I will try to explain in detail how the payment process works in order to reassure you :)

From the moment you choose to subscribe, you will be redirected to the paypal page.

Paypal is the biggest payment institution on the internet, used by millions of people (including me), it is this institution that will contact your bank and proceed to the deduction of the amount that will then be transferred to my paypal account.

partitions-accordeon.com has NONE of the information you enter on paypal, your real name, identity and credit card information are not stored.

Here is how it works:
by subscribing to the subscription I send you on paypal by saying to paypal "the member slade wishes to pay the sum of 15$ for the site partitions-accordeon.com".
Paypal will proceed to the payment with you. And once this payment made, will send back a message to partitions-accordeon.com saying
"the member slade to carry out its payment successfully" or to say to me if it is a failure.
Depending on this answer the premium status is applied on the username you have on the site.

And that's all :)
partitions-accordeon.com has only the information you entered on partitions-accordeon.com
namely :
- your nickname
- your email address
- your avatar
- your country or city (if you entered it in your profile)

I'm going to look into alternative payment methods (like premium rate sms) in order to offer another payment option.
In the meantime you can be sure that everything is extremely secure on the paypal side. With the volume of transactions they have, the opposite would be absolutely dramatic :)

Hoping to have reassured you!
