There are many things that I can't understand, the membership fee? why many refuse it? I'm in an accordion club and I pay my annual membership fee, it's normal, in exchange the conductor provides me with scores, advice and as on PA I found friends.
Another reflex that I do not understand, why those who withdraw ask that their scores are removed! I think that when these scores were deposited it was of good heart and one should not regret what one gave because at the time or one did it one had good reasons.

I completely agree with you, that members decide to leave, it is their decision and it is completely respectable whatever the reason, but like you I do not understand that one asks to withdraw all that one has generously offered, that exceeds me...

I fully agree with you Theo and Dany14, concerning the membership fee, like many many people, I am a member (president and teacher) of a sports association under the law of 1901, and in spite of everything, I pay an annual contribution although all the leaders are volunteers.
This allows the association to function: advertising, training courses, courses, materials, expenses, etc... all this has a cost.
It is important to understand that free membership is not a given, contrary to a idea that is more and more widespread (at least in my opinion). Even the goodwill has a price.
Of course, a member who works for the perpetuity of an association or a association or a site like P.A. can in my opinion claim some favors, it is also favors, it is also the least of things. But it is to be decided in meeting, by private mail or video conferences if we can't meet physically. meet physically.
Concerning the withdrawal of the scores: in the hypothesis that, if one day, I decided to leave P.A. it would not even occur to me to withdraw any of my scores.
