Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since we last updated the website.
And for good reason, we have spent most of this year setting up the PA store.

Between logistical challenges, storage challenges and technological challenges, the last few months have been full of challenges, and we are proud to present the store that you can find in the "store" menu.

For the moment we only deliver in the European Union countries but we hope to increase this in the future.

The number of items is also minimal for the moment, but we will increase the different items and the stock as we go along, depending on the success of the store :)

If you have any suggestions on what types of items to add please let us know!

This update also fixes a lot of bugs, as usual, as well as performance improvements etc... as usual :)

Thanks for reading,

Musically,
Slade

Hello,

Thank you Slade and all the team of P-A, a good idea this store.
A small question, is it possible to indicate the width of the straps? 8 cm maybe?

Thank you very much.

Hello Pontiac,

indeed! We'll add that, I'll reply here when it's done.

Thanks for the feedback.
Hello
I don't understand how the 3rd and 4th bars are played with the left hand in the mysterious piece by Jo Privat.
For the moment I play the bass A# with F#7 chord then C# with F# chord.
I also have a problem on the 7th bar because there is an eighth note rise in the left hand with a triplet in the right hand. Should I do 3 for 2 or am I cheating?

Mozart also did this in some pieces. A piece of advice: don't think about it and it will happen by itself.
Hello to all you musician friends! I've been looking for Claudio Capéo's "RICHE" score for a while. Thank you for your help!

Hello to all
I see here and there the remarks of each one, I agree with some concerning the slowness
The means of research changed, it is true
I asked myself for explanations to seek Editions, and finally by making sometimes our logic work, we find the solutions
This new site I think was made to improve and to provide us a certain comfort
I see that there are imperfections, but a team works to remedy all that
I think that considering their work for this new site and with all the criticisms their morale must be very low
For my part, every time I asked for information, a score, a notice I was always informed politely and courteously.
This site informs us on the current events, we sometimes find the rare pearl, we can deposit questions on the forum, there is always an answer.
You can place a small ad.
I do not criticize anyone, but I salute and thank the enormous work of the team behind all this and I remain a faithful member to PA.
Merry Christmas to all and let's take the time to discover this wonderful site full of richness
Very cordially

Hello Slade
Of course when there is change, there can only be improvement.
I salute once again all the work that has been done for this new site
Good luck to you

Hello to you all my dear friends . I have just bought through the leboncoin website, a superb Paolo Soprani accordion with 5 right hand registers and 2 left hand registers; this one needs a little revision. To do so, not being very rich, I would have liked to know the approximate cost of tuning these registers. If among you, there is a specialist in the matter, I will be very grateful to him, to enlighten me a little better on this subject. Residing in the Nièvre, and having nothing to do with this type of intervention, I will have to travel by train, with additional costs. To travel hundreds of kilometers, to be surprised by an exorbitant estimate, is rather unpleasant. I therefore need this information which will be very useful to me. Thank you in advance for your kindness. Marceau

Good evening Marceau, It all depends on what you call "tuning", if it's a matter of a few false notes that sound wrong, it can oscillate around 200 /300 €, although it is a 4 voices... (still to be judged on piece...) but if it is necessary to review all the "music", it is close to 800 to 1000 € and more (still to be judged on piece it depends on many factors (general condition, skins, felts, valves; state of the reeds etc..The best thing is to drop it off at a repairer who will give you an estimate, afterwards if this estimate does not suit you, you can always ask for another one elsewhere but this kind of service is rarely given. Good evening to you.Amicalement.Dany 14

Hello Dany . Yes, I knew that it was not given. Finally I thank you for having informed me approximately on the fees. I still have to follow your advice; namely, to look for a luthier who is not too expensive. But thinking about it, I think it would be a good idea to contact the accordion factory with this brand. I will keep you informed of the costs I have to incur for this type of work, in order to give everyone an idea on this issue. Thank you Dany, for your attention to my concern. See you soon. Marceau

Hello Marceau, The problem lies in the fact that one tuning does not make the other, everything depends on the time spent which can be random depending on whether or not there are reeds to replace, whether there are not many notes to retouch, whether or not to replace skins etc..Not to mention that sometimes it does not go as well as we thought (and that lengthens the sauce) it is difficult or even impossible to make a serious and reliable estimate for a tuning, there is always "between so much and so much". Good day to you.Amicalement.Dany 14

Good evening Marceau,
As Dany says so well, it is when you open the instrument that you realize the work to be done.
That said, Stéphanie SIMON, does this kind of work very well, of course like all accordion repairers she is overworked.
Here is her address: 24 route de l'Ombrée. 18200 in ORVAL (next to Saint-Amand), telephone: 0248966022.
She receives by appointment only.
ORVAL is only 80 km from NEVERS.
Good evening and pleasure.

Hello Jodi . With my apologies for the delay in responding; major health concerns). Yes I know it; it will be necessary of course that she sees it. I opened my accordion without difficulty and there, surprise, a lot of leather goes up in the air. Otherwise it plays, but here it would be necessary to change those. The cost; ??? in short, I will advise. Thanks to you and Dany, for giving me a little help.

Hello Marceau, there, you must start by changing the skins before moving on to the tuning otherwise it is almost impossible to do a good job.Best health to you and good end of day.Amicalement.Dany 14

Well my friends, the problem is solved. Having received a parental donation, I can enjoy myself. This tuesday, I take possession of a Cavagnolo orchestra 5. With its registers and the tuning of this one, I will finally be able to dream a little. Thank you for your kindness. Marceau
Hello to you; accordionist friends. I wanted to thank from the bottom of my heart our friend Manu Maugain for sharing his qualities through the methods he has designed for beginners as well as for experienced accordionists. After having contacted him by phone, I ordered on Play Music "Jazz improvisation on accordion" that I have just received. This one is full of ideas, and knows a great wealth, in term of solfeggio; for the one or the other, who dreams of composing his own music or arranging already built pieces. If I dare to promote this precise method, it is because I know that many members have the desire to create; Manu gives through his research, the keys allowing to cross the step of the creativity, with its rules of construction. On behalf of all of us, I congratulate this very talented artist, who puts the fruit of his work at our disposal. Thank you Manu for this album!

Bpnjour,
Dropped yesterday, September 14, 2016 "Ballade Rabouine" by Joss Baselli & Gus Viseur in versions with and without bass.
I had time to download both versions but the version with bass disappeared ... some time later : page 3 (trio) was missing, maybe that's why ?
Would it be possible to reintroduce the version with basses because obviously richer for the chords unless the contributor whose pseudo I did not have time to note does not have page 3!
Otherwise call to those who would have this complete score: "Ballade Rabouine" edition date: 1955
Thank you for your possible research,
Greetings of musical re-entry to all,

Good evening Enki54,

Yes, I didn't pay attention but I don't have page 3. I'm sorry. That's why Cindou removed it on my proposal because it was not usable.

Have a nice evening
