Hello everyone,
After 30 years, I'm getting back into the chromatic accordion. Could someone explain to me how to read the scores? I was used to scores with treble and bass clefs and I see that on some scores that are published, the bass clef does not appear? There are annotations but it doesn't speak to me at all. Thank you for your help.

Hello Karynette. On sheet music without the key of F, the chords are notated as follows: C=Do, D=Ré, E=Mi, F=Fa, G=Sol, A=La and B=Si. When the chord is marked G, play the G Major chord. When marked Gm, play the G minor chord, and when marked G7, play the G 7th chord. When it's G/D, you play a D bass and a G chord. I hope this answers your question.

Good evening, thank you very much Perolivier. I feel less lost with your explanations. I can move forward in my learning. Bonne soirée a vous
Hello, the treble clef is always indicated on accordion scores! It's only the chords that are in the European clef (F clef).
Hello,

Does anyone know this accordion: Accordion Paul Beuscher 96 basses. 3 rows of chords and 3 rows of basses left hand. 3 left-hand registers.
3 right-hand voices, 2 flutes and a bassoon with 5 registers ( full stop, 1 flute, 2 flutes, 1 bassoon, flute + bassoon )
It's for sale on the bon coin, it matches my criteria but I don't know it at all and it's not possible for me to try it. Is it a reliable brand, and is the sound "powerful" enough?
If you have any information ..... Thanks a lot

Hello Michèle,

I can only give you one piece of advice, an accordion, and an acoustic one at that.
The complexity of the instrument, the cost of repairing it, however small, can be expensive. The sound can also be very different depending on the manufacturer.

Sincerely

Hello to the administrators,
at the end of July I published, on the section "music", a piece of a waltz to know, by chance, the title and who is the composer. This publication has been visible until yesterday with 250 visits.
Today I have seen, unfortunately, that has disappeared. I would like to know the motivation....why has been deleted.
Thank you very much for giving me information about this.
I wish you a good day.

Hello,
I have deleted it. I had left it for a long time so that you could receive an answer.
The music section is only available for the pieces interpreted by the community of cover and / or composition.
Sincerely,

Hello to all of you,
I just bought a Mengascini digital accordion equipped with a MUSITECH Simply Midi Bass system. I had no problem for the right hand. However, for the programming of the left hand, it is more complicated and the A4 sheet provided by the manufacturer as an instruction manual is far too summary.if someone among you could tell me where I can find a more extensive manual or tell me how to proceed for the programming of bass and chords left hand, I would be very grateful.thank you in advance for taking the time to read my request.Sincerely and musically yours.JJMAU

First of all, hello to all of you, musician friends !
I discovered this site a little while ago, and I subscribed to it right away! However, I have some small gaps concerning its functioning, especially on a particular point.
On some scores, when searching or simply viewing, it is written, only on some:"orchestration".What does this mean?
I have a Cavagnolo Odyssée Pro Orchestra 3, and play most of the time with orchestrations. Is it possible to find some on the site too ?
In any case I find this site really top, and I am delighted to be able to share my passion for the accordion with other enthusiasts!

Thank you for your attention! Good day to you all !

Hello and welcome among us ♫♫
The scores for which it is indicated in the title (orchestration), when you open them, you can see that there are the parts (often) :- Accordion, piano, brass etc ...It is to direct people looking for this that I note it (in parenthesis) next to the title ...
Hoping to have answered your expectation

Hello Anorou, and welcome among us. All the depositions I have made and will make most of the time are orchestrated. It's Cindou who taught me everything, and believe me she had a hard time. I always proceed like this: accordion score; trumpet Bb; sax clarinet Bb; sax Bb; for the complete orchestrations, bass, drums etc. ..... all the old editions are practically, they had the advantage to be played quickly; what is not the case any more today or the improvisation often takes place. And now there are software that do it for free. Here is also the advantage of this site, that you will not find elsewhere. Wishing you a pleasant stay, Marceau
I sold my accordion PIERMARIA and I can not remove it from the ad I click on deleted and it does not work ??? why ?? can you explain. Thank you

Thank you very much, I ordered the PIERMARIA GALA and I can't wait to receive it. Good evening .....
Hello everyone,
I would like to have some information that I have not found anywhere on the midi system. I know that it can be installed on an acoustic accordion, in order to continue to play without being connected to an arranger or expander and to keep his accordion without having to buy another one.
I would like to know how much it would cost to install this device on my Fun star 120, and is it a danger for the accordion, and who should I contact for this manipulation, and finally, how much does the midi cost in total (arranger, midi device,...)?
I thank you in advance and wish you a pleasant day.

Hello Leo,

The technique for MIDI on the acoustic accordion is not "open", it remains quite rare today except for a few professionals and it is quite expensive.

Cavagnolo has made a big leap forward with their new digital Digit Pro or simple model. They also do mixed acoustic/digital or all digital modification from an acoustic.

Good research

Thanks to you for the information, I have also inquired (below is a part of the email from Limex):
"The installation of the LIMEX system on your HOHNER accordion is not a problem.
You don't lose any register of your accordion, of course a cut-off register is a plus. There is no risk for your accordion, the acoustic sound is not changed.
LIMEX offers several solutions. Prices vary from 1250€ for the basic system to 3525€ for a complete system transforming your acoustic accordion into a real digital accordion, with the addition of microphones (also possible without microphones)
Digital has never been so easily accessible at a lower cost. "Good evening Leo

Here you are with a price range which seems to me correct.
It is true that the MIDI and now the digital of modern times embellish the game, it also opens new repertoire.

The cost is decreasing, but for good stuff you still have to pay the price. There is no mystery about it, quality has a price. Then the options (Microphone, HF etc..) must be able to be added later.

A good system to be able to make evolve its instrument with time and the means.

Hoping that your pleasure is at the rendezvous,

Good evening

Good evening DominiqueI found your wonderful site; I discovered it today, bravoI am also a premium member of the site Partitions-Accordéon.com
I am an "old" bass player of 72 years. My current style, jazz (music school orchestra), but I am still passionate about the musette. When I was younger, I played in variety bands for many years, and to finish in beauty, if I may say so, all these years of diverse and varied music, I refounded a small group (of my age...) very nice composed of a solo harmonica, an excellent polyphonist, a guitarist sometimes singer and myself on the acoustic bass. Our current problem : our harmonica soloist has to stop for health reasons.usually, musicians are looking for accompaniments or playback of orchestra, we are the opposite, we are looking for the soloist part of the pieces we play to prepare for the departure of our harmonica soloist friend.Do you have a solution for our group to continue to make music (animation of meals, old people's home, etc...)? thanks a lot if you can help us.BernardDeleted email address / you can be contacted on the site in Private Message
