Hello
Even if Apple and Android are two different worlds...fortunately the PDF format is universal.
The PDF scores from PA or elsewhere can be read on an Apple as long as you use an Apple compatible application to read PDF's. It will be another learning curve.

Hello daniel77,
No worries with Apple, the site and the formats used are compatible with all types of devices and all systems!
The new version of the site will even adapt according to the device on which you will connect in order to make the use on tablets and mobile easier and more pleasant!

Hello to all and to all indeed Xodo works under win and androidIt is necessary to know that on a screen of tablet in portrait mode with Xodo the PDF in 21x29,7 will not be displayed in full screen according to the size of the ecran it is necessary to redimentionner the PDF because there is a margin in top and bottom. The PDF format that is the closest is the Tabloid format or 792x1224 points or 28x43 centimeters.for example on my 13 inch tablet I convert all my PDF to 28 x43 centimeters or 794x1361 points and I have a full screen display.if this helps

Hi Sylvie,
I think any tablet with a pdf reader should do the trick. I haven't tested it though!

good evening Slade, thank you for your answer, since a few days I can't see or download the scores, is that normal? or maybe I have a problem with my computer, but I don't think so because it's the only problem I have. very cordially sylve

hi sylvie27
if you read the news you will have the answer to your questions on some technical problems encountered at the moment on the site
As for your 2 questions, I'll give you quick answers in mp (I had made "decent" tutorials on these subjects but I withdrew them given the success encountered by people who don't care about them like their first false note, followed no doubt by many others)
best regards

Hello Jean-Jacques.
I'm sorry but I haven't seen your tutorials about sheet music on a tablet and I'm very interested. As you know, I can't play without them and sometimes they are 5, 6 or more pages long. For Christmas, I got a folding music stand that also has to hold 5 or 6 pages. It's not practical at all to file.
In advance thanks and best wishes for 2014.

hi Dan
I think the best solution is to have an assistant (or an assistant) who turns the pages when needed ;)
I'll let you know my thoughts on this subject soon

To be honest, I would prefer an assistant.

Hello Sylvie 27,
Here is the text I just put online on the KFC forum concerning my recent tablet equipment:

"Score binders and Tablets

Recurring topic in the forums, I deliver here my approach in the
matter, as an amateur accordionist, for whom the partoche is
indispensable
I estimated that the minimum format of a screen for reading
partoches should be at least equal to 13 inches, which is equivalent
roughly to a page in 21x27 format, portrait mode.
I then checked that the ANDROID system allowed a
classification of the simplest pieces, only with
the file explorer provided by ANDROID, with directories,
under directories, etc...then a full screen visualization
of the score, it is standard ANDROID, and which corresponds well
to the need of the instrumentalist..... On condition of saving the scores in JPG format (photos)
I thus scanned my partos in JPG. I also made
transcriptions on a page.
I then looked for a 13 inches tablet, not too expensive, at
dedicated only to this application.
To date, I found two models, not very common it is necessary
to say: one of brand ARCOS, familypad or familypad2, another brand
POLAROID, executive 13.
The prices go from 200 to 250 euros approximately, it is this last one of which
I made the acquisition.
In the end, very satisfied with the result, it is the question of the
reliability of these materials, we will see with the use.
In terms of autonomy, we are limited to 5/6 hours approximately, not
more it seems to me."

Thank you for your simple and effective presentation for me, who is very weak in computer and digital.
Are they digital tablets? How do you turn the pages?
Thank you and have a nice day.

It is a very basic digital tablet, the only advantage of this one is that it is 13 inches.
I turn the page with a finger swipe.

hello thank you for your discussions - to turn the scores without putting the finger there is a usb pedal, so it's qd meme better, the jpg format does not please me at all, I prefer the PDF, and easier to put in a file (that's what it seems to me...) - I'm still doing research, and I'll keep you informed - for an assistant to turn the pages for me it's ok but I play often so if someone is available .... (this is a joke to be taken at the 10th degree !!!!!) good day sylvie

Hello,

I would like to share my experience with you.

I use a SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB2 tablet with the MOBILESHEET software:
http://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/

It is a free software, and very cheap in full version.
Very easy to use and very reliable, with unlimited number of PDF files, sorting by genres, custom zoom, etc...

I can only recommend it to everyone, as its use has become indispensable to me.

to test without fear!
