Having deposited a collection of ABBA GOLD GREAATEST HITS in PARTITION today and checked if there was not a duplicate. I found nothing so I posted. This was posted on this day, I just found that it is no longer. I thought I had seen wrong and checked again by typing abba and viewed one after one. Nothing found. So why removed? then I typed in PARTITIONS the full title and there in appears with 1028 downloads. Weird! Indeed I made a duplicate. Explain to me where is this collection which is not in the heading PARTITIONS by writing ABBA thank you for enlightening me.

However, do not look for ABBA / enter rather the title really identical to the one you are going to deposit, it is much simpler, because there is only very little time that one can put the name of the group in the artists, formerly, one noted the real composer (still today), but the interpreter or other can also be created in artist.

Beginning in the site P.A I make duplicates . I look before by scrolling the content following the registered titles but not far enough. I notice anyway that the members who see my duplicates do not try to scroll and download it automatically the day , the day . I have by mistake duplicated the score "C'est lui que mon coeur a choisi", by Max d'Yresne and Raymond Asso.
The reason is that my search was as follows:
I first typed the whole title: no answer.
Then, as I often do, I limited myself to "It's him".
And there, two answers, but not the right one ("It's him" and "There is only one it's him"). "That's" what fooled me, having deduced that mine wasn't there.
Slade will surely be able to enlighten me, but I think the apostrophe might be responsible (multiple coding?). By the way, if you type all or part of the title without "it's" ("chose" is enough, for example), you get the right result.
You can also, of course, enter the name of one of the authors.
With the first name if necessary (for example "Asso" without Raymond, in this case, is part of too many words and names to lead to an efficient search: 13 pages of results, from Cassonet or Masson to Gloria Lasso through Massoti, Nekrassov and many others).
The problem is perhaps not soluble.

Yes indeed, there is a problem of encoding with the apostrophes. Due to the different versions of the site and the different successive encodings, the version 4 of p-a being in construction and this problem not being "major" it is in suspense while waiting to be definitively regulated in the next version. :-)
Hello, I wanted to make a small clarification of the rules established by Slade. If you observe my deposits well; you will notice, that those are clean readable and not appearing on any competing sites or others. It appears that on reading this one, some errors concerning the duplicates or spelling can be reproached to me. And yet on the forum it is, in the form of pawing or openly made me understand that I do not follow the directives, which everyone can have read here even. Questions; is it necessary to take into account this one ??? or to submit to the free remarks. I underline that if my deposits are enclosed to jealousies (not founded) or disturb because do not agree with their personal opinion; there is there of the passes right and it is the anarchy. The fact of depositing, to look after, to refresh old pieces; is a form of sharing, of acceptable presentations, of bringing music that one discovers, should suggerés a little more recognitions than of personal points of view. I am waiting for an answer to this problem, if you are kind enough to have the courage to read the rules .........

I think I am logical, courteous and fully committed to sharing and helping as much as I can. I took care to read the rules (which was analyzed and established as such, for the good of the community). Cindou, if it is about my writings, please let me know. I have a keyboard where half of them are erased or illegible. I have to buy silver self-adhesive letters to make up for it. You know and see it on my deposits, I attach a lot of importance to the quality of the covers and the cleanliness, as well as a readable score. I work a lot on this printing by managing the colors and the black and white. I also work trying to find a solution to the new software that has been installed, independently of my will; very good that said; but does not allow me to access the following pages, in the category proposal, in order to overcome the duplication. (ok, it's a waste of time, to say that I asked Slade to be incognito as an administrator ....., not possible ... and even, I wanted to file incognito ... not possible too, so I might as well go for it!!!)
Of course, the goal of this site is sharing ... when I say sharing, we can also hear GIVING, INDIVIDUAL SHARING (yeah it's weird ....!! but true), in a word DO NOT EXPECT A RETURN ... Like any donation, it's logical !!!

Hello Cindou. It is without moderation that I agree with your point of view. I am one of those with 10000 scores per hour, but that was at the beginning, I wanted to share everything with those who have trouble finding their happiness, because the old editions have disappeared, or no longer have any heirs, or at least interested. I always watch the depositions to see if I like this one. What a surprise !!!! I had when I saw downloads on invisible or unreadable deposits. At the beginning I was skating in the sand, and you helped me, however when I deposited, too quickly it is true! I was wrong title or score, and this one was still downloaded. What's the point??? that's why I adopt your point of view. This week I am waiting for a small return, which will be put on p.a, in drops, and as right to consume with moderation.

When I read Harmojack's answer of February 24, I see to this day that his sentences were well turned and that he would respect the
" Rules" of P-A.
But this is not the case at all, he is posting what he has in score and soon no member will have the pleasure to post theirs.
It is a pity and a pity at the same time to arrive at this stage of conviviality.
We are not all on this nice site to compete in the number of deposits.

Here I am now accused by Mr. Harmojack of depositing scores which are I admit for some to this day in free download on the sites of certain accordionists, but by which they were offered to me by them even according to my request.
What was not current on the Net when I received the scores by postal mail by sympathy of these musicians or orchestras.
I have to specify that I view in no case the sites of these musicians for illicit downloads whatever they are.
The human contact is the best way to bond a comradeship, to talk on the phone and to ask for what it would be nice to receive from the Pro's of the scene.
Also I "openly" said some time ago that I have about 20,000 scores in my possession, in reality, on my hard drives and not counting the P-A repositories I have about 33,700.
And for the good form, I would like that Mr. Jack, who likes by his musical knowledge... does not make fun of some and others as a certain Mr. Frerik did in his time.
If such a zizanie (in see you in here) persists on the site, my favorite site which is not other than P-A I will not hesitate to unsubscribe Illico-presto

As I did not find the requested title in the list of deposited scores while a member was looking for it (see cindou11's list) I took the liberty to put it online for the benefit of all P-A's friends.
Jmimi writes above that it is well in the database, then, did I make my research badly? it is probable.

'Que bonitas eres'
The real title is 'Que bonita eres' without s in bonita.
Of course no title found.
It is by making a research of the composer, on internet that I could finally find the name and notice the error.
What a waste of time, just for one consonant too many.

With a bit of patience and insight, you can do it anyway.

in a previous post are spelled "as well" as possible ...
Which allows, with the newly arrived A-Z key, to
classify your searches in alphabetical order ...
I explain:
-
You click on a composer's name, all
works associated with "the way" his First & Last Name is spelled,
will appear .....
-
And, to refine the whole, click on the key
A-Z and there, his works will be classified in alphabetical order...
-
This, avoids even more duplicates, and
helps you in your research.So, not cool the trick ?

HiYou have just pointed out one of the recurrent problems on this siteDespite many tutorials "for dummies" (and they are too many for my taste, probably because they don't take the time to read my prose) many files continue to be uploaded in "image" formats and/orin several pages, in duplicate or with errors of titles or fotes of ortografe and some members (rare, one can count them on the fingers of one hand) take time to announce them to me, thank you to them ;)The palm returning to those which load partitions to redeposit them then by clicking ("seek the gogols") NO IT IS NOT THERE !!! (I have names as Coluche said) and I think I'm dreaming every time !!! What do I do ? like a fool I correct !!!And the "famous" titles come to the surface which has the effect of "bringing up" several "Bachelet" which is no more damaging than the deposits of "useless" scores (read crap : NDLR dixit JJ who assumes his analyses) which will never be read nor played : I do not know that our "services" make reminders, even sympathetic ;)

to find a composer or a significant performer you can always type the name in the score search and you will find yourself on the right page, without having to scroll down the list
do a sorting by letters ?
yeah but when you see that many names, even famous ones, are not even well written!
that, in spite of many recommendations, the names / first names / in capital letters / lower case / abbreviated / with points / spaces / spelling mistakes .... and many more, are posted sometimes without any verification, you can imagine the result
add to that the names of composers + lyricists + arrangers who create a new section EVERY TIME
solutions ???
- to fill regularly the whole list, exciting you imagine it, more especially as to rectify it is necessary to edit ALL the scores and to rewrite the names, score by score, that happens to me too often and I confess that I would prefer to spend my time with other things, for example to write music
- eliminate duplicates ?
it's possible if you are alerted and messages are welcome (when you see some aberrations loaded dozens and dozens of times without being reported, you wonder, no I don't)
- for your information:
- NEVER report fake "statements" or "transcripts", and yet there are tons of them
- NEVER report false agreements in a statement or a transcript, and yet ......
- NEVER reports scans in all directions, and yet ....
- NEVER report unreadable scores, and yet .....
- etc.etc.etc.
I don't think all members are aware of how lucky they are to have such an organization

Hi, the name suggestions at the time of entry can give you an indication, if nothing is suggested enter it in the form "first name last name" and it will be you who will be right anyway ;)

I may not have understood anything about the film (I'm far from being a computer expert at 66)!
I wanted to search for André Blot.
As soon as I put the first letter of the first name or surname, the whole list starts up with everything you want!
As JJ says, I don't want to hurt his feelings (and try to help you) but it's true that it's a real mess and that some people put anything.
It's true that you should start by entering names and surnames with a capital letter (it's the rule in French and a question of respect towards the authors!)
I just realized that I did not read the whole procedure and that I put the first name before the last name !!!!
