Hello, for the last two weeks my PC has been crashing and I noticed the inscription at the bottom of the screen: waiting for facebook.

Hi
not easy to understand ;)
- does your pc "crash" all the time, on all the sites, or only when you try to open your Facebook page ? (in this case check that the address is good : https://www.facebook.com)
- if you wait, even for a long time, what happens?
- Did you change something, install a program before you noticed this problem?
- can you make a screenshot with this alert? if it's easier for you you can drop it as a partition, I'll delete it later

Hi there,
are you on PC or Mac?
Do you have a facebook account?
I'm on a Mac, so I know Macs much better than PCs... On Mac, since 10.8, you can link the facebook account, by setting it directly, so you receive notifications directly on the Mac, even without the mailbox open. I could imagine that if your PC is waiting for facebook, it could be a lead? Maybe your password is not registered correctly. However, I doubt that this is the cause of your PC's slowness. Eventually, it could slow down your internet connection...

Hi,
I think I can explain this mystery :)
If you look carefully at the bottom of the page while it loads you will see all the stuff that partitions-accordeon.com has to retrieve on the right and on the left.
Google map (for the musicians location page) and facebook, for the little module on the right column and the news sharing :)
So that's certainly where the message you see on the screen comes from!

Hi,
I deleted it after looking at it.
That's what I was saying P-A needs to get the module from facebook when this message appears that's what he is doing!

So everything is normal!

I have just installed another PC and Jean-Jacques is right because the new PC works normally.I had not thought of making the exchange because it is only on PA that I had these problems.I think I will format the HD because there are lots of things that I collected by downloading free software and I can not get rid of.I thank again J.J and Slade.very cordially. papyjo

hi Papyjo
it's a pity to format when a simple "cleaning with the Karcher" would probably be enough
I send you a personal message

Ccleaner ;)
if you had helped as many people as me because of crashes after using this ... you would understand that I have deleted Ccleaner from my vocabulary
but that's my own business as the other guy said ;)
greetings
