hello,

I started accordion 2 years ago with a teacher and a lot of personal work.
I started with the basics and mainly on the C major scale

The teacher pushed me to study the vast majority of scales, arpeggios and chords in major, minor and 2 hands.

What's more, in the minor mode, I need to know the Natural, Harmonic and Melodic scales. The aim is to master by heart all the scales, arpeggios and chords.

But also, with both hands in sync, as well as descending with the left hand and ascending with the right, and vice versa.

I understand this technical work, but I don't feel that this enormous amount of work is necessary for playing the instrument better. But I suppose my judgement is wrong.

If someone of good will could tell me 2 words about it and enlighten me It would be nice !!!!

Amicalement

Good evening, yes it's very good, but not motivating! I gave lessons to an 11 year old who had never touched an accordion, with the chromatic accordion method 1st year by Médard Ferrero and the scores. After a year, he was playing 10 scores! cordially

Hello Do you want to become a concert performer? Follow the advice of your teacher, who may only see in you a wallet on legs or may have detected in you a future Verchuren. Otherwise, just enjoy playing the scores on PA and you'll quickly find your level.
I'm Belgian and I'm taking up my instrument again after a little break of 60 years.....
I forgot which finger to use to go up and down a C major scale.
The C on my instrument is on the 3rd row.
Who can help me?
I do have Charles Demaele's scale summary chart but I'm having a bit of trouble with the numbers (up or down) ???? finger 5 ????
Thanks to all

Hello
There are 2 fingerings from 1 to 4 when the thumb is not used or from 1 to 5 when the thumb is used.

Hello, the C in the 3rd row means that you have the so-called Russian system. Buttons are positioned differently than on a French system.

Thank you, I'm at crt. In Belgium we play C 1,2 or 3 depending on the region and always with Belgian basses (inverted) going up F going down G, etc.
Hello,

I am looking for two booklets that were given to start 40 years ago in Hainaut, the region of Charleroi and the center.

One was a method, I think pink or gray I think it was called the ABC of the accordion. The format was an A4 folded in half and the last page was a drawing of the buttons of the right and left hand.

The other one was a collection of all the scales for C 2 chromatic accordion. The format was quite large, I think an A3 in green color.

Maybe you have this in your archives?

Thanks in advance,

I thank you Cindou, I expected no less from you. You know how to get involved in sharing and enlighten us on certain subjects. So I watched this very instructive report and another address that leads me to a method that is not in French. But this allowed me to see the side of Alain Aboot and, this, thanks to julienjc. It goes without saying that I have researched before creating this discussion. And I will continue by contacting Parisian editions. Our site being poor concerning this accordion, I will work to bring a maximum concerning its practice and join to our site any useful document. Thanks to you and to julienjc .

I thank you for your help Cindou. I saw with specialist in the matter, it is in fact a Russian keyboard said (Bayan) but the incredible fact is that the left hand keyboard does not have a trigger for chromatic bass. Finally, I succeeded with an accordionist playing routine, to exchange it against his own which has our good old Italian keyboard. I warn against some false information on leboncoin, because often they are accordions recovered for profit. In short, I am really lucky in my misfortune.
hi nice accordionists
I own a Fratelli- Crosio chromatic accordion 3 rows right hand and the C is on the 4th button first row
I just bought a Fratelli- Crosio chromatic accordion 4 rows right hand = left hand
(harmonion)
I have the idea that the C starts at the 3rd button first row
Who can confirm it to me?
thanks in advance

Thanks Cindou11
I went through your data
I deduce that the C starts on the first row first button
To be corrected if there is an error in interpretation
I'll try to get the Abbott A method from P-A
"Complete method of classical accordion"
Thanks for your light

Hello to all of you. As you know, I correspond with beginner members, even great beginners, in order to help them via webcam. One of them, arrived at the chromatic scale of the Astier Baselli method, with a teacher and this after two years. Finding the pieces of study boring and not easy, I made him solfier (the version very very easy) under the bridges of Paris. Result, recognizes the notes with great hesitation, is not in measure ....... He learns daily with a lot of acidity. So we start all over again. His last message "even if it is a lost cause". I draw his attention as well as to those conserned, that it should not lower the arms. Even to pass 60 years it is not too late. I propose myself and free of charge to teach you the solfege (unfortunately neglected). It is indeed useless to arrive in the middle of the method without having assimilated the beginning (result "deception !!!!!"). Contact me and we will do it with the accordion (learning by playing is very playful) the motivation and the pleasure will be felt. I am very patient !!!! and I promise you that in this form you will make progress. With all my friendship. Adler trio

Good evening everyone. I want to do something new, I'm starting the bandoneon. Only I don't know what to start with. I have an Ambros method, really hard. I want to do scales but if someone has a little easy tango to encourage me, or a name of method for diatonic bandoneon, it would be nice.
