Hello,
does anyone have a solution for mounting a smartphone or small tablet (like ipad mini) without damaging the accordion?
I currently use a normal music stand (tripod) on which I place an ipad pro 12.9 (the largest). I use Piascore software. It's perfect for reading scores. I have a bluetooth pedal to turn the pages. However, all this is a bit heavy.
So I'm looking to lighten the system by having a smaller screen attached to the accordion, so it's close to the eyes for reading sheet music. I don't want to damage my Roland FR4!
I've tried car mountings, but it's not easy.
Thanks for reading.

I attach my smartphone to the top of the accordion with Velcro, and it's perfect!

Thanks, I'll make a note of it. But I'm a bit afraid of the glue on the varnish.
Hello, I'm a new premium subscriber, and I've understood how the score search works (okay, it wasn't very hard!) but is there a place where I can get the sound with the score so that I can work on it, or do I have to copy it into a program? Thanks for your advice. Bon week end

Hello Micam
If you're a bit of a hack on your computer, and to put it simply, there's a program called PDFtoMUSIC from Myriad, which lets you listen to and create a MIDI file
ATTENTION this only works with a PDF created from a music composition program such as MuseScore, Harmony, Melody assistant etc....
If it's a scanned PDF or an extract from a music book, it won't work, as the software considers the PDF as an image
There is a free version (limited to one page) and a paid version.

I hope I've answered part of your question.
Kind regards

Hi Theo, thanks for the information. I'll have a look. For the moment I'm using GuitarPro but it's forcing me to rewrite everything...
Have a good weekend.

Hi Micam, it is indeed necessary to rewrite everything, take your time, I use Finale, with a little practice, it is not too restrictive, good day :)

Hi sthubert, I was hoping for a faster solution without really believing in it! I was using Finale until I discovered GuitaPro. I find it a little simpler.
Thanks, have a nice day!

Hello, in my experience, with Sibelius (to write or hear the music you've written) you have a light but efficient program called Photoscore which allows you to recover the pdf (if it's not too rotten) in midi and pass it into Sibelius. This is the most economical solution. And ultimately the most reliable.

Thanks Rawal, I don't know Sibelius, I'll take a closer look.

Hello, PHOTOSCORE software is very efficient for PDF files ...but you have to warm up the CB, but what a time saver! Otherwise, for free, you have to play what you read on the score on your musical instrument or go and find audio on Youtube Deezer spotify.

I'm not familiar with Photoscore and its possibilities, but I use PLAYSCORE 2, which does a good job of reading PDF or scanned scores.
Hello to all

Yes, it's not really a software, it's the two ears, there's no better... After all that exists doesn't really give very good results, it's always a little bit off and we spend more time trying to correct when it's possible than to transcribe. On the other hand, there are very good tools to demix music and thus separate all the instruments of an Mp3 and also tools to find the names of the chords and their position in an Mp3 Lionel specialist M A O since 35 years.

Hello to all,

for once, we are now following our strict update process.
This time as usual there are a lot of bug fixes, software updates, performance improvements.

And some additions, here is a non-exhaustive list:

- Posts posted by members (discussion tutorials etc...) in another language than yours are automatically translated. So you should not see any more posts in English for example. Your answer in French will also be automatically translated for the English-speaking person to whom you answer (This post will be automatically translated into English).

It is possible to deactivate the automatic translation in the preferences.

- You can now post classified ads from the news page.

- Slight redesign of the display in some places such as the display of dates of events.

A lot of bug fixes too long to list here, but if you have reported bugs since the last update, they have surely been fixed in this one.

Thanks for reading :)

As usual if you encounter any problem please report it to [email protected]

Hello
Often it is searched for scores that are not found. So the proposed solution is to make a musical statement. But here too, not everyone feels able to do this.
There are applications, software, websites that will offer after analysis of the audio of Youtube the sequence of chords contained in the audio which is already a first help. Then there are sites that are able to recover the audio in Mp3 from the content of Youtube videos ... this is a second step ... the third ... here is a summary ... is to D E M I X E R an audio file ... to separate the VOICE, the BASS, the BATTERY and the rest of the orchestration. Thus by listening to the audio files separately that can ...I say well can facilitate the transcription ..in more often the words of the songs are already on the web ..fourth help ./ ...go ..I let you read the continuation to demixer

.................;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;Hello

Doing and undoing...it's always working...I don't know if it was Penelope who said that...but in music it's a bit the same...
Having discovered the site ...with the link in the first message ...I searched for ..MUSIC SOURCE SEPARATION since this is how the Americans describe the function of demixing.

To make a CD in a studio, each instrument is recorded separately, often in a soundproof booth, and then everything that has been recorded is mixed together to form a single track containing two voices (right and left for stereo).

The voice being in the BOTTOM of the right (top pite) and the TOP for the bottom track to make the two voices represented in audio spectrum in TRANSCRIBE or SONIC VISUALIZER or AUDACITY

and the trick to remove the voice was to - flip - the tracks so that half of the voice is on the peaks of the tracks (UP DOWN) ... and planing the ends so that the voice is attenuated and it remains only the music ...
But that .... was before.
Today with the artificial intelligence ..and also that of the engineers developers ..there are applications which exist .
Google gives you plenty of link with MUSIC SOURCE SEPARATION ..and especially in Github ..which is the niche of developers ..often under Python.

DEMUSC seems to be the product that works best...it is possible to run it on your PC but it is a bit of a gas factory if you are not a programmer.

WEB interfaces (sites) have been created that use DEMUSC resources in the background on servers

as https://www.spleeter.io/demucs

You drop your Mp3 file and after a while ..you have a ZIP file to recover in which you will have according to your choice ...the voice only and the music only without the voice

Explanations here with Youtube video ...the files in return are in WAV ..with AUDACITY it is possible to compress them in Mp3

There is also the other site https://musicprism.app/ which is in the same spirit ..you give it a
Mp3 in analysis and it returns you 4 files after separation of the VOICE of the BATTERY of the BASS and of all the rest of the orchestration.

And never two without three ....https://www.spleeter.io/demucs

BUT FOR THAT TO WORK you must not put ad blockers ...

Good experience

Hello, I have tested (https://www.lalal.ai/) and indeed it is extraordinary to separate the voice and all the instruments.

Question: then, what would be the software to use to create a score using only voice? So going from mp3 (or wav) voice to a score automatically?

I'm poking around on the web and there seem to be a lot of programs offering to create scores directly from a single sound (either voice, piano or guitar, ....) and without mixing because otherwise it's inaudible.

Thank you for your feedback and experiences.

Anthemscore from lunaverus or audioscore but it's not the same price avoid widi which is not worth a peanut.

Sorry for the delay, I had not seen all these proposals. Thank you very much for all this information, I will try to understand all this. again thank you and good day Julia
General question: do you know a good software to create scores directly from MIDI files? Currently I use MUSICIAN 4 but often the result is average.... What do you advise me and which is the simplest possible and fast. I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello,
Musescore reads Midi files, but the result will probably be the same: Midi files are not intended to make partitions...

Hello,
Good software, I do not know but I use (to leave partitions) NOTATION COMPOSER, you can select (in the menu part) the partition of each instrument, ctrl+p and it is left.)

Hello To my knowledge, there are only two programs that output the name of the chords - contained - in the Midi Karaoke file and then make scores - simplified - or more than complete. BAND IN A BOX loads the MID KAR and shows all the chords found in a grid. In PARTITON mode it proposes ALL the content of the score and already there it is possible to print it in PDF by choosing virtual printers on its computer ( PDF95 PDF24 PDF redirect V2 PDF creator etc etc ) ...But ...knowing that a Midi file is linear (without any going/returning) you risk to have many sheets .The solution is often to keep only the melody track (channel 4) to limit the number of sheets 3 or 4 depending on the size of the font used for the title - lyrics - and the layout with margins.
yoyodu77
03/07/2022
The second one is actually COMPOSER from the NOTATION.COM website ..which is also able to display the name of the chords found in the MID KAR but it often finds too many ..sometimes one chord per note ..4 in a 4 beat measure ..it is necessary to sort out ..and the same ..to limit the number of sheets at the output of the virtual printer it is recommended to work only on the melody track .
Lionel
The new interface of the software seems to be more user-friendly, but when you use it, you'll be disappointed. The software is very slow, there is no logical automaticity between the operations and you have to wait patiently for the answer to the click, always with a doubt about its acceptance.
Sorry that this modernization does not bring any progress.

Hello,

We are currently working on these problems, that's why the site is unstable.

Thank you for having a little patience, the site is two weeks old, and faces more than 100 simultaneous visits in peak hour, 174 000 requests in 25 hours, 7GB of downloads in 3 hours.

We have neither the infrastructure nor the teams of facebook. I'm on my own with this, so I do what I can.
Things will improve quickly.

We know about the slowness issues, and having yet another discussion about it is not necessary or constructive.

It's convenient to ask people who have paid not to talk about the problems. You have to have a lot of nerve! When it comes to being constructive, it's up to you, not the customers!

Hello Slade, don't worry about these reflections. We expect from everyone an encouragement, an idea to improve the program and we do not need critics. ...... I knew that when I was changing the organization at my work and also in music, Good continuation, JeanPierre

Thanks Jean-Pierre :)
It seems that the site should be faster now! We keep our fingers crossed!
I am looking for a free converter that can convert WEBOC playbacks into mp3. It is so for certain titles of the site 1 2 3 musette (not all) like maria la portugaise which cannot integrate my tablet cava digit.IL was so for the playbacks of the CD Eric Bouvelle that I succeeded in converting into MP3 with the free software Switch which does not function with the titles raised.
I thank you in advance

Hello,

I use Firefox with the "Video download-Helper" extension.
An icon is placed on your browser and allows you to save on different formats. It often happens that the videos are in MP4 (video-audio) in this case you find on the internet a free converter to convert it to MP3,
example: https://convertio.co/fr/mp4-mp3/

Hello
For my part, I use Note Worthy Composer which exists since more than 30 years that I paid the equivalent of 30 euros with free updates for life.the software in native manages the Midi IN OUT and THRU. The lyrics are since the birth of the software exported in Midi format (Kar) and it is a great score editor.
