Hello to all the Pagans , with my most sincere musical wishes . Being a novice in software, I would have liked to know if one of you has Pizzicato. The goal of my approach is, as you have understood, to be able to compose on the one hand, and to clean up some scores that are impossible to scan (formats too large, difficult to read, etc. .......). This software is not free, and having undefined possibilities, seems to me very interesting, I receive via my mailbox, the news of this one; however, its use seems to me complicated, will there be among you, someone having this one ???? and tell me what he thinks of it. Thank you for enlightening me on this subject, because I am not a computer expert.

Hello Marceau,
I bought the Professional version of Pizzicato.
I would say indeed that the use is not, for all the operations, super simple.
I don't compose and therefore don't use it for composition.
I mostly use it to transcribe some music sheets or sections of them in order to be able to hear them and/or easily transpose them.
Sometimes, I also scan with SharpEye that I bought and that allows its import in Pizzicato.
I am happy with my purchase because this software is in French and allows me to do the operations I wanted to do. But it is true that it is expensive and that I could certainly do a lot of what I do with it using a cheaper or even free product. But I like its SharpEye import features.
Enjoy the music!

Hello,
I use MUSESCORE, which is easy to use, in French and completely free.
Moreover one finds much partition in sharing for this software.

Hello,
I also use Musescore for several years. I am very satisfied with it.
It's free: you can install it to test it and, on their site, go to "Scores" and see what can be done to give you an idea.

Thank you very much Lisa, I'm going to give it a try. This one is maybe paying, but if it's a two-way street, why not? It should be said that often free offers only limited possibilities, which is a good thing. However I thank Levinceret and Cavag31 for their kindness. I had Musescore, for free of course, but despite his tutorials on Youtube, impossible to put silences on the score, if you have the recipe, I am interested. Thanks to you.

I hope you won't regret your purchase.
I started out with a hobby version of Pizzicato but quickly found it to be too limiting. I really don't use all the features that my Professional version offers but that's often the case with many programs anyway.
And the company that sells Pizzicato offers very good support.

Musical pleasures!

Thank you very much Levinceret. I've just tested it. Lisa, I am delighted with your impressions of this software (which can be seen on youtube, where I am subscribed). A new feature on this one has just been reported to me; the modification of rhythms. With these new technologies, why not try to let our inspiration do the rest. Thank you all for your help and advice. Best regards.
