Hello everyone,
first of all, mea culpa for the increase in spam over the last 2 days.
I thought I had the situation under control. Apparently it wasn't.
We've been inundated with spam on a daily basis for weeks now.
I have a script that detects them and deletes them as they come in.
However, lately they've been particularly creative and their posts have been getting through.
We're probably and unfortunately going to have to limit some of the website's features for new subscribers due to these few scumbags who decide to make everyone's life miserable.
I apologize again for the recent situation and will try to keep a constant eye on new discussions.
If any messages slip through the cracks before I see them, please send an e-mail to [email protected] so that I can react as quickly as possible.

If you're a bit of a hack on your computer, and to put it simply, there's a program called PDFtoMUSIC from Myriad, which lets you listen to and create a MIDI file
ATTENTION this only works with a PDF created from a music composition program such as MuseScore, Harmony, Melody assistant etc....
If it's a scanned PDF or an extract from a music book, it won't work, as the software considers the PDF as an image
There is a free version (limited to one page) and a paid version.

Hello, in my experience, with Sibelius (to write or hear the music you've written) you have a light but efficient program called Photoscore which allows you to recover the pdf (if it's not too rotten) in midi and pass it into Sibelius. This is the most economical solution. And ultimately the most reliable.

Hello, PHOTOSCORE software is very efficient for PDF files ...but you have to warm up the CB, but what a time saver! Otherwise, for free, you have to play what you read on the score on your musical instrument or go and find audio on Youtube Deezer spotify.

I'm not familiar with Photoscore and its possibilities, but I use PLAYSCORE 2, which does a good job of reading PDF or scanned scores.

I don't want to bore anyone but when you open Partitions-Accordéon you see on the side the dates of events ... the first is the summer master class with Lionel Suarez ... the date noted is: Jan 31 .... but it takes place in July ... it's annoying for those who would like to go there .... well I say that ... I say nothing ... it's just to point out!
Then I wanted to know if the person who posted the score: J'ai gardé l'accent de Mireille Mathieu (I kept Mireille Mathieu's accent) couldn't put the second page ... This time as usual there are a lot of bug fixes, software updates, performance improvements.
And some additions, here is a non-exhaustive list:
- Posts posted by members (discussion tutorials etc...) in another language than yours are automatically translated. So you should not see any more posts in English for example. Your answer in French will also be automatically translated for the English-speaking person to whom you answer (This post will be automatically translated into English).
It is possible to deactivate the automatic translation in the preferences.
- You can now post classified ads from the news page.
- Slight redesign of the display in some places such as the display of dates of events.
A lot of bug fixes too long to list here, but if you have reported bugs since the last update, they have surely been fixed in this one.

you can now find the list of artists and genres via the menu on the left of the website.
Each genre and artist now also has its own unique page to easily find its scores.
For example:
All waltzes :

You can access these pages via the list of genres/artists in the new menu items or by clicking on the artists/genres of a score or request.

The small problem is that when I am on an artist for example, as soon as I print the desired score I find myself at the top of the list of scores and not on the printed one, so I have to scroll the list again each time. You can activate the "classic" mode in the preferences of your account, and this will activate the pagination for the "partitions" part of the website. You will avoid the infinite scrolling.

a little update to list the latest bugs that have been fixed (in case you've been paying attention!)
- Some image formats (jpeg) were not displayed on some posts.
- The youtube previews in some comments hidden by default were the wrong size.
- The "like" button on songs did not update automatically after clicking on it.
- The contact page for the mobile version of the website was empty
- The unsubscribe link for newsletters was displaying an error ("you're not allowed to do this") when trying to unsubscribe from some emails from this link.
- When adding a partition the genres were "emptied" after adding a file
- Still adding a score if the file was added before the genres, the latter was no longer taken into account.
- It was recently impossible to change its city on its profile
- The editing menu (on the ...) was displayed behind the content of the website
- The change of profile photo and the resizing / cropping of the latter was broken.
And probably other things I forgot.
Don't hesitate to contact us by mail and/or private message when you encounter bugs :)
