World Music Masterclass with Ludovic Beier

Content: Initiation open to all in order to
Familiarize yourself with Brazilian, Gypsy, Zydeco and Celtic styles. Develop your playing skills with a simple, fun approach to a repertoire open to world music. Work on themes and develop a relevant interpretation, whether festive, improvised or reproduced. For all instruments and all levels.

Trainer: Ludovic BEIER is one of France's leading Gypsy jazz accordionists. He has made a name for himself worldwide alongside guitarist Angelo Debarre. On tour, he meets James Carter, Joe Lovano and Tom Scott, and performs in the greatest American jazz clubs alongside Toots Thielemans, Herbie Hancock, Eliane Elias, the Django All Stars... In France, he accompanies Melody Gardot, Thomas Dutronc and Guy Marchand, for whom he composes and arranges his latest album, "Né à Belleville". Ludovic Beier also lends his talents as a composer and arranger to the world of cinema and television. His latest solo accordion album, "Made in black", has just been released. Ludovic Beier has won the Prix Gus Viseur and the Prix Francis Baxter, and holds a Master's degree in Manouche Jazz.

Schedule: 3 full days, from 10am on day 1 to 6.30pm on day 3.

Content: Familiarize yourself with brazilian, gypsy, zydeco and celtic music. Whatever your level is, this masterclass will allow you to broaden your playing by approaching a world music repertoire in a fun way. You will work on various themes playing them uptempo, improvising or playing transcribed versions.

Trainer: Ludovic Beier is a world-renowned jazz accordionist. He has played with Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Dorado Schmitt, San Severino, Thomas Dutronc and Guy Marchand to name a few. He has a PHD in Gypsy Jazz.

Participants: All levels, all instruments

Schedule : 3 full days starting at 10 am on the first day and finishing at 6:30pm on the third day.
