It was with great sadness that I learned of Charles' death. The death of an artist of such artistic stature (and the richness of his compositions) leaves a great void. His talent and generosity through his works will remain engraved in the collective memory of each and every one of us. He marked so many lives through his compositions, and my memories with him through various galas testify to the exceptional person he was. Peace be to his soul, and courage to all those who knew and loved him. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends, not forgetting the music world! Respect dear Charles and rest in peace!
